Description
Metamorphosis III is a mixed media sculpture of bronze, copper-wrapped English ivy and hoya vines, copper-foiled leaves, and applewood legs. The base is live edge ponderosa pine with aged honeysuckle root.
DreamHorses emerge from the branches of trees to manifest as fanciful horses. They are elusive, unpredictable, free spirits. During the artistic process, the artist releases control to the emergence of the horse--a graceful, leggy horse, part fantasy, part reality, and part aspiration.
The inspiration for each DreamHorse sculpture arises from a deep mysterious place, that Cheri calls “the confluence of my dreams, experiences, and passions.”
